About this coffee
This coffee is produced by smallholder growers working closely with local exporter and processor Cofincaf. The company serves as an aggregator across the Chiapas communities of Chilón, Sitalá, Simojovel, Sabanilla, Yajalón, and Ocosingo, working with a network of more than 3,000 coffee producers.
Chiapas, located in southern Mexico, is the country's leading coffee-producing region, accounting for approximately 41% of Mexico's total Arabica coffee production. More than 180,000 families cultivate coffee across 88 municipalities, with approximately 61% of the region's coffee producers belonging to Indigenous communities. The region's combination of high elevations, fertile volcanic soils, and diverse microclimates creates ideal conditions for producing high-quality Arabica coffees.
Please note: Full bag quantities of this coffee do not include GrainPro liners. These coffees are sourced and shipped in this format intentionally, and we do not expect this to negatively affect quality.
